Clean. Nice staff. However, I wish hotels would learn how to have the door to the room actually seal closed so light and sound doesn't creep in the room all night long.
Very good Hotel. Clean. Comfortable. Good breakfast selection. Lemonade in lobby & fresh baked cookies at night.
The front door is protected by a large portico, to provide shade on a hot day, and to facilitate loading and unloading in inclement weather. Key card secured entrances are located at each end of the building.
Large comfortable rooms are all non-smoking-- as is the entire building. Rooms are remarkably quiet, given the proximity to the intersection of two main traffic arteries. Friendly, helpful staff work together to create an atmosphere of welcome and Comfort. Patrons are treated like visiting guests, not just customers. The front desk is attended 24 hours a day.
Comfort Inn, Madison is an upscale hotel located at the top of the hill west of downtown Madison. It's just minutes away from Madison's Historic District, historic restaurants, and other attractions-- like Clifty Falls State Park, and the Ohio Riverfront, with Madison's famous River Walk. Hanover College is just a few miles west, while shopping and more restaurants are only a few miles east
The only thing Comfort Inn, Madison lacks is a view of the river-- but with the River Walk beckoning, who wants to sit in the room to look at the river?
Breakfast starts the day off right with all of the standard continental breakfast items: juice, coffee, donuts, pastries, bagels, and toast. It also includes eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy, hot or cold cereal, and Belgian Waffles-- made fresh on the spot. Then to top off the ample breakfast, there's fresh fruit-- and yogurt in the fridge.

Nice room, good selection at breakfast. Unfortunately the elevator broke during our stay, and we're accidentally shorted on towels. Close to Madison, and in a nice location
