Terrific museum, wonderful for the whole family. Our children loved the hands on chidrens activity room and the adorable restored caboose, friendly staff ! Great deal free admission for all of 2017!

Went to see"Take the River" documentary film by Dennis Neary. Enjoyed it!

Very interesting museum with great local information. 1895 train station is very cool. Very friendly folks at the History Center. The great thing this year is that it is FREE.

We love to visit during the Nights Before Christmas event and see the gingerbread houses made by the local school kids. There is a good deal of general history and a decent Civil War display, too. Local inventors and industry are also represented. And a complete cottage is on display indoors.

My 2 yr old grandson loves trains and was so engaged throught the museum. He loved it! This nice volunteer offered to let us in even though they were closed.
